Chapter 06 – FTP or File Transfer Protocol

By now, you should have done the following:

  1. Registered a domain
  2. Purchased a hosting account
  3. Mapped your domain to your hosting company
  4. Setup a database at your web host

We’re now going to take a slight detour. To build a website, you will need to install an FTP client on your home computer.
